01-15-2022 12:36 AM. I have just bought a HP Elite C USB Docking Station and it keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting. There is no rhyme or reason. I have tried nearly everything and driving me mad. I have a HP Spectre 360 and would appreciate any assistance. 01-15-2022 06:06 AM - edited ‎01-15-2022 06:07 AM.
You appear to be flooding the serial port. If you cannot load the blink sketch try this: Power off the board completely. Remove the USB cable. Hold down the Reset button. keep it held down (or, run a jumper wire from the RESET pin to the GND pin). Still holding down Reset reconnect the USB cable. As per my title, my monitor keeps randomly disconnecting. It's connected to displayport via the USB-C output on the laptop. Any help is appreciated! Cheers!

The monitor works fine with both the laptop and the desktop, but the keyboard and mouse only play nice with my laptop, not my desktop. They seem to intermittently disconnect, but it's not like a complete disconnect where the computer makes a noise like when you unplug something, it's like a soft disconnect where they just stop sending input to
I have also tried going into the power plan and change USB settings to "USB selective suspend setting disabled" (didn't fix problem). My USB keyboard would ignore the first keystroke after a few minutes of inactivity, and sometimes only a few seconds.

All my peripherals keep disconnecting! All my peripherals keep disconnecting! The weirdest part, though, is that this wasn't happening for the past 3 months when I was staying at a friend's place. Maybe because I had less USB devices plugged in? Ryzen 9 3900x Corsair H150i ASUS Prime X570 64GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3200 Gigabyte 2070 Super.

Unplug all USB accessories from your computer except for your device. Try each USB port to see if one works. Then try a different Apple USB cable. Restart your computer and iPhone, iPad, or iPod. Try connecting your device to another computer. If you have the same issue on another computer, contact Apple Support. If you use a Windows PC
